Open were tasked by ABTA with introducing Foreign and Commonwealth Office travel advice as part of the sales cycle to holidaymakers. In a complex and sometimes dangerous world customers are increasingly asking their travel agents for advice on their chosen destination. The FCO website provides detailed country specific advice but steering customers to this in a natural way requires finesse.
Open storyboarded different scenarios that agents might encounter and developed a script for agents to follow which introduced the FCO as the travel advice experts. We developed animated characters that brought the story to life with recognisable voice over artists and a touch of humour.
